If you’re into Transformers and jewelry, you’re going to love this custom made Optimus Prime Ring.
Artist Dans-Magic, from Deviant Art, spent 50 hours working on this one of a kind 14k piece of jewelry. He had originally carved the triangle eye sockets, but the client wanted rubies, so he had to comply. Dans-Magic also created an Optimus Prime pendant that you can see in the photo at the bottom.

What can you do with 1,000 Tivoli radios? That’s an easy one, build a 15-foot-high audio tower, of course.
Nicknamed the “Tower of Babel” this technological oddity was presented at the Milan Design Week 2009, to promote the audio supplier’s collaboration with Italian designer Giulio Cappellini. The Audio Tower of Babel was very popular in Milan, so it will be reconstructed in Moscow, London and Paris. Be sure to check it out if you’re into audio stuff.

John Pugh has to be one of the most talented trompe l’oeil painters in the world. He creates unbelievably realistic murals that trick the viewer’s eye into seeing a three-dimensional scene. Pugh’s works can be seen all across the world, from New Zealand to Hawaii.

Created by Marco Hemmerling, a talented German designer, Cityscope is a faceted art installation, presented at the Plano8 architectural festival, in September. Located in Cologne, Germany, the installation reflects parts of the buildings around it, offering a frafmented perception of the surroundings.
Hemmerling describes its creation as an urban kaleidoscope that offers a different perspective on the environment with every step you take. Cityscope is covered by radiant foil that reflects images in different colors, depending on daylight. At night the surface of the art installation becomes transparent and it is lit from inside.
Who ever said wood was to stiff and can’t be molded into anything that comes into our minds? These creations prove that, with a lot of talent, wood can take any given shape. My regards to the sculptors, they did an awesome job!
Now these are some dolls I wouldn’t recommend any parent to buy for his kids, unless they want them to become really twisted human beings. Come to think of it some of these puppets are even spookier than old Chucky, which in my opinion wasn’t really all that scary. These “toys” on the other hand are much more spookier, darker…scarier!
I wouldn’t be surprised if the person behind these abominations is also behind the disturbing art I posted about not long ago. Anyway the guy clearly has issues!
Ariana Page is a very…unique artist, due to the fact that she suffers from a condition known as dermatographia (the immune system exhibits hypersensitivity, via skin, that releases excessive amounts of histamine, causing capillaries to dilate and welts to appear (lasting about thirty minutes) when the skin’s surface is lightly scratched). She draws various patterns on her body and then takes pictures of herself, thus works of art are born.
I don’t know about you but I get the heebee geebees just looking at this little girl. I don’t know what the author had in mind but a little girl in a bathtub full of blood isn’t my idea of artistic vision. Anyway some of you might enjoy them and, as they say, you never discuss taste! Well I can probably think of a few stranger things to put on my fingers but a fly shaped ring is definitely up there with the strangest and ickiest! They’re probably great prank material but still, you wouldn’t catch me dead wearing one of these things!

How many bananas does it take to make a work of art? According to graphic designer, Stefan Sagmeister, the answer is 7200. He has a wall of 7200 stacked bananas on display in New York City, at 76 Grand Street, along with many other of his masterpieces, but if you are considering going to see it live, I suggest you hurry, I don’t even want to imagine what it’s going to smell like on February 23rd, when the exhibition closes, those bananas look a little too ripe.
