Two-face baby worshipped in India

The little girl was born with two faces and now the locals think she is the reincarnation of one of their gods.

Ever since she was born in a hospital, in Delhi, the villagers from the little girl’s village have been singing and dancing, offering her money and asking for her blessings.

Doctors say the baby girl and her mother are healthy at this moment, but the parents want to ask help from the Indian government for the problems she will likely be confronted with as she grows up. We wish her well!

UFO house for sale

Ever wanted to live in a flying saucer? Now you can!

If you have at least $100.000 that is, that’s the starting price for this odd looking UFO-shaped house. It is for sale on Ebay so look it up if you can afford it. It’s based in Chattanooga, Tennessee and it was built by the late Curtis W. King because he liked to build unusual things.

The current owner, only had it for four months and he didn’t comment on why he wanted to sell it, but it might have something to do with the interior design options, the side walls are very very short and the ceiling, as you can imagine, is very curved. I wouldn’t want to live there, even though it’s equipped with everything a normal home needs. But then again I’m not that fond of UFOs.

Real-life Simpsons’ house

I can’t believe I haven’t heard about this before, it’s been around for 10 years!

I stumbled across these photos and they looked strangely familiar, but I couldn’t tell where I had seen that house before. After some research I found out Fox and Pepsi built this house for a contest that a woman named Barbara H. won. The house is located in Nevada and it is an exact replica of The Simpsons house. How cool is that!

Flip-flops caused chemical burns

This is what a pair of cheap, Chinese flip-flops did to someone’s feet.

A young woman bought a pair of flip-flops from a Wall-mart store for $2.44 and after wearing them for a while, she sensed a tingling sensation in fer feet so she stopped wearing them. Soon her skin started turning red and, as you can see from the photos, it didn’t stop there.

She took up the mater with Wall-mart but they told her to take it up with the Chinese producer, but eventually stopped selling the product due to multiple complaints.

One of a kind wooden car

Vasily Lazarenko wanted to create something extraordinary when he first started tinkering with car parts and many think he succeeded.

In his home town of Chernovtsny, Ukraine, Vasily took a year and a half to put together a unique vehicle out of a convertable and a luxurious saloon and then covered it all in oak. He says he will consider selling it if the buyer offers him enough to get his next wacky project going.

Dramatic weight loss

This girl wanted to be a ballerina a little too much.

This girl’s case should be proof enough that nothing is more important than a person’s health. She wanted to be a ballerina but she was to heavy for the job, so she decided to starve herself to death in order to fulfill her dream. Unfortunately she went “a little” to far as she managed to go from 72 kg to 32 kg in just one year. She now has several medical conditions and her body can’t yet process firm food. It’s not yet certain if she’ll ever be a normal person again.

Gothic Wedding

I can’t say I’m very big on Goth culture in general, it’s all very pessimistic, at least that’s the way I see it, but there are some places where it fits right in. A wedding isn’t one of them.

But that didn’t seem to matter to these two lovebirds. The 49 year old groom and the 45 year old bride decided they wanted a funeral-style wedding, so they dressed for the occasion, arrived in coffins carried by a funeral wagon and even wore make-up to make themselves look like real live…dead people.

Used tire art

Some people can any type of junk and make something beautiful out of it.

Such is the case here, where some artists had the brilliant idea of using used car tires to create wonderful works of art. I’m really impressed with that black armor, but the others don’t look half bad either. This should be a lesson to all of us, just because something looks used doesn’t make it useless.

Life in Cambodia

These are the things that make me feel grateful for the life I live every day.

This pictures have been taken in Cambodia and this is pretty much what people must resort to in order to survive – searching through trash all day long. Just imagine having to live there, let alone having to raise your beloved children in that kind of an environment. This is just as bad as the sea of garbage, only it’s happening dry land.

The Nautilus House

The Nautilus House is one of the most beautiful achievements of Senosiain Arquitectos, a famous home designing company. Although it might seem very unusual, this shell shaped house is said to be quite comfortable, making you feel like a caterpilar (in a good way) in this very…spiral environment.

Dancing with crocs

I didn’t know crocodiles were easy to train, this guy proves that they are.

Still, putting your head inside that beast’s head like that?!? And he looks like he doesn’t have a care in the world, like nothing could go wrong, it’s a little annoying. Buddy that thing has one of the strongest bites on the planet, if he snaps, that’s it, game over! And with a face like that, I wonder how that crock can help himself…

Although I doubt he’ll have a head on his shoulders for a long time, if he keeps this up, the guy has balls the size of watermelons!

Fighting ouzels

I’m sure you’ve all heard about cock fights, but how many of you heard about ouzel fights?

Yup, apparently they’re not just harmless birds with phenomenal voices but also very good fighters when they need to be. In India fights between short-legged ouzels are very popular, people actually breed and train them for this kind of activity, apparently there are also a lot of money involved. It’s quite sad actually, not long ago I wrote a post about horrific horse fights, it’s clearer and clearer that man is indeed the most cruel being on the planet.

Soon to be largest horse in the world

Meet Digger, a burly Clydersdale, Britain’s largest horse and soon to be largest horse in the entire world.

At just 4 years of age, a regular teenager, Digger measures 19 hands and 2 inches and promises to stomp over the current record of 20 hands, held by Tina, a shire from Tennessee. Digger didn’t start very well in life, he was an orphan before he was taken in to International League for the Protection of Horses’ Belwade Farm in Aboyne, Scotland, after his former owners couldn’t cope with him, due to health reasons. But now Digger is more than ok, devouring 42 to 55 pounds of food a day, plus treats like chocolate muffins, carrots and apples from visitors.

Strangest thing is Digger is best friends with Sweep, a 12 years old Shetland mini pony, who can easily walk right under Digger‘s belly.

Aurora Borealis

Aurora Borealis are natural colored light displays, which are usually observed in the night sky, particularly in the polar zone.

It often appears as a greenish glow (or sometimes a faint red), as if the sun were rising from an unusual direction. The aurora borealis is also called the northern polar lights, as it is only visible in the North sky from the Northern Hemisphere. The aurora borealis most often occurs from September to October and from March to April.

Auroras are produced by the collision of charged particles from Earth’s magnetosphere, mostly electrons but also protons and heavier particles, with atoms and molecules of Earth’s upper atmosphere. The collisions in the atmosphere electronically excite atoms and molecules in the upper atmosphere. The excitation energy can be lost by light emission or collisions. Most aurorae are green and red emission from atomic oxygen. Molecular nitrogen and nitrogen ions produce some low level red and very high blue/violet aurorae.
