Old Russian Army Vehicles for Sale

Russia sure had a lot of obsolete army gear that needed to be put to good use.

So they turned most of the old army vehicles into utility vehicles and started using them for all kinds of stuff, agriculture, constructions, or special situations like heavy snowfalls. Apparently they have to many of these old metal beasts and they’re putting them on sale. I’d buy one if they were cheap, just to rive it around town.

World’s Smallest Car

It might not be exactly up-to standards design-wise, but the Peel P50 is the perfect car on a crowded street.

Only 50 cars were prodused and sold between 1963 and 1964, but only 20 are still around today. The original price was 200 pounds, but today you can’t buy one of these micro-cars with less than 35,000 to 50,000 pounds.

The three-wheeled car has only one door on the left side, one windscreen wiper and one headlight. At 134 cm in length and 99 cm in width, the Peel P50 mini-car was designed to accomodate one adult and a shopping bag.

You might not be able to ride in a micro-machine like the P50, but you will be able to observe one up close, at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, in London.

It Came from the Toilet Bowl

Kind of like “They Came from Outter Space’, only this isn’t a movie and IT is a snake.

I remember was a kid I was always a little reluctant to sit on the toilet, thinking that God knows what kind of creature may crawl up the pipes and into my…you know. Needless to say, after seeing these photos, the fears are back, and the relaxing experience of sitting on the crapper will never be the same.

The First Lebanese Super-Car

Lebanese designer David Frem long announced he will create a super-car better than a Ferrari, but it was just bull.

While the Frem F1 might not be the ugliest car in the world, it’s definitely not a looker either.  The car’s design could have been better, especially in the front, but the F1 suffers a lot in the interior department. No real styling at all, just foam and cardboard, and I’d say Ferrari does interiors a little better than that.

In terms of performance Ferm‘s puppy better keep its head down in front of a Ferrari beast. It’s powered by 2.0 Wolkswagen engine, connected to an Audi gear-box, that pushes the car to a maximum speed of 124mph.

Lebannon may have its first super-car, but instead of testing it against a Ferrari they might want to try an easier opponent, like the Marussia, Russia’s first super-car.

Bad Panda

Panda Bear takes revenge on human kind by attacking a guy that ventured into his territory at the Zoo.

You can’t really hold it against this fluffy creature. After all mankind almost wiped out the Pandas, although, like many other animals, they did absolutely nothing threatening. I don’t understand how someone can hurt one of the cutest creatures on Earth, for whatever sum of money, but that’s just me.

If you ask me, it’s that idiot’s fault for invading the animal’s territory, otherwise Panda‘s are really harmless beings. Maybe he wanted to put his head in the bear’s mouth, like the croc master.

The Number 23 (Chinese Version)

Remember Jim Carey writing all kinds of mambo-jambo all over the walls of his house, in The Number 23? If you do, this is going to look familiar.

Sure, unless you know Chinese, those symbols make absolutely no sense, but I’m pretty sure this is, or was the house of a very disturbed individual, with a lot of stuff on his mind. Either that or paper is really expensive in China.

Washing-Machine for Humans

It might sound like a futuristic invention, but Sanyo presented its washing-machine for humans way back in 1970.

Officially named Ultrasonic Bath, this human washing machine was introduced as a concept at the 1970 World Expo in Osaka. It was about 2 meters tall and the bather had to use a ladder to get in. After the desired water temperature was set, the 15-minutes-washing process would begin. First a 5-minutes pre-rinse cycle, spraying the baither with jets of hot water. After that the pod-shaped washing-machine filled up with water and a 3-minute massage-bath began. The soothing massage was supposed to stimulate blood circulation while cleaning your body. A 2-minutes rinse process followerd, and finally a 5-minutes drying program, in which warm air blasted the user, while infrared and ultraviolet light killed any remaining bacteria.

Unfortunately the Sanyo Ultrasonic Bath never made it into our homes, but the Japanese company did release HIRB (Human In Roll-lo Bathing), a compact washing machine for humans, used in elderly homes.

Famous LEGO Paintings

LEGO bricks have become the most popular tools when people want to recreate something famous, in a totally different way.

This is not te first time someone used LEGO bricks to make something extraordinary. Some built LEGO famous buildings, others made the LEGO Beijing Olympics and recently Legoland California recreated Obama’s Inauguration from LEGO.

The LEGO famous paintings are the work of former Italian bank worker Marco Pece. He posts his LEGO masterpieces on Flickr, under the pseudonym Udronotto, and his creations have become hits on the internet. Visist his profile on Flickr to see more of his original LEGO artwork, it trully is amazing.

Professional Thief at Work

Picking pockets is definitely not an admirable “profession”, but I have to admit this guy is very good at what he does.

It’s not every day you get to see a professional thief working one of his victims, but thanks to this photos we got to catch him in the act. This sort of stuff happens every day on the streets of China, and the thief is probably picking somebody else’s pockets right now, without a care in the world. Victims realize they’ve been robbed way too late, and all they can do is just go about their business and try to get over it.

Putin Fishing Doll

Russians worship their former president Vladimir Putin, and now they have created a doll of him in a very popular scene.

We all remember the photos of shirtless Vladimir Putin fishing while standing on a rock. Many praised the Russian leader for his fitness and the photos circled around the globe. Now his loyal subjects have created a doll of him in that famous circumstance. I have to say the detail of Putin’s muscles are quite impressive. Good job comrades, your creation is a worthy adversary for the Obama action-figure and the Hitler Doll

Funeral Hearse

Riding in a Harley-Davidson hearse is actually not a bad way to go.

There are many funeral homes that offer services like this, but this particular motorcycle hearse belongs to Clear Creek Coach, a family owned Motorcycle Hearse Service, in Topeka, Kansas. This has to be the perfect way to go for life-long bikers who want to make a stylish exit. The company offers this service because they “geniunely care about providing something special for those wanting to honor their loved ones memory in a unique way. ” Read More »

Astrology Condoms

People love sex and zodiac predictions, so why not mix the two?

Unfortunately the funny-looking Astrology Condoms are the product of a very small Japanese company called  Yamashita Latex, and can only be found in some shops around Japan. The company doesn’t even have a website where you can order their products. You won’t find Astrology Condoms in any Western country, so if you have friends in Japan call them and ask them to send you some.

I have to admit this is a great way to market your condoms.

World’s Fastest Volvo

Volvo is known as one of the safest cars in the world, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make them go fast too.

Spotted on the streets of Johor, Malaysia, this car has to be the fastest Volvo in the world. As you can see in the photos, it has no less than 10 exhausts, countless gauges showing God knows what information, and the stickers on the back warn anyone foolish enough to want to race it, that it has fuel injection and twin turbo.

Not much more info on the web about this beast, but what more can anyone say really? The photos speak a lot louder than words.

Cyborg Insects Are Real

Soon the Pentagon will announce they’ve managed to create cyborg insects, that will give the US a technological edge in future conflicts.

Recompute – The Environment-Friendly PC

Are you worried your PC could be more environment-friendly? You’re right, but don’t worry, thanks to Recompute you don’t have to give up web-surfing.

Recompute is a green concept that means to completely revolutionize the computer industry. Instead of a plastic, aluminum or iron case, Recompute uses a recyclable and renewable case, made out of corrugated cardboard.

Recompute uses only 3 electronic components, a motherboarde with processor and memory, a power-source and a hard-drive. It’s designed to allow the user to take parts like the keyboard or mouse from an old comuter. The electronic parts can be recycled easily, without having to use tools.
