A traffic agent in Uruguay is currently under investigation for using an official document for unauthorized purposes, after it was revealed that he tried to impress an attractive female driver by issuing her a ticket for “excessive beauty on public roads”.

The unusual incident occurred on May 25th, in the Uruguayan city of Paysandú. An unnamed traffic agent allegedly stopped a female motorist and, impressed by her physical looks, he proceeded to write her a ticket for “imprudence while driving (excessive beauty on public roads)”. To make his intentions obvious, the public servant also wrote “I love you” in the ‘observations’ section of the ticket. He was just trying to be cute and never imagined that the stunt could land him in hot water, but after the ticket was posted on social media and quickly went viral, his superiors started an investigation.

Yorge Luís Ruiz is a young Venezuelan street artist who immigrated to Brazil in search of a better life. He settled in Fortaleza, in the northeastern state of  Ceará, and started performing his living statue routine to entertain passers by in the city’s busy Ferreira square. He’s not the only street artist working that area of the city, but he stands out thanks to his adorable partner, a cute canine named Jaspe. The pooch not only accompanies Yorge whenever he goes to work, but she actually assists him in his routine, resting on his bent arm and standing as still as she possibly can.

A video of a naked man lying on top of a white car and being paraded around the Colombian city of Barranquilla has been doing the rounds on Colombian social media for the last two weeks, and recently went viral worldwide. The bizarre scene reportedly occurred on May 15, when the man’s wife caught him in bed with another woman at a local motel. He begged for forgiveness, but the scorned wife told him that the only way to save their marriage was for him to accept a humiliating punishment. The amateur latte artist was inspired to create drinkable bird portraits on coffee by her own pet, Sakura, a pink Bourke’s parrot. She started posting the fruits of her painstaking labor on social media, and soon people started asking her to do portraits of their own birds. Ivan Kuzin, a 20-year-old student from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, has created a lucrative online service offering business managers and entrepreneurs custom signatures. He came up with the idea last year, when he turned 20 and had to change his passport. He realized he didn’t like his signature at all, and since had already started his first business, which was already bringing in steady income, he decided to change it. Ivan turned to his friend, Anastasia Zdor, who had mastered oriental calligraphy while studying in China. She designed a beautiful signature for him and then patiently taught him how to write it himself. The whole process got Ivan thinking about offering designer signatures to others as a paid service.

The average balloon animal takes a skilled artist a few seconds to a couple of minutes to create, but Masayoshi Matsumoto spends between two and six hours on a single creation. It’s not that he’s not talented enough, quite the contrary, his works simply display a whole other degree of detail. Located off the coast of Shandong province, near Cheniushan Island, the stretch of ocean previously belonged to to a fish farming company and was acquired by the woman’s boyfriend via online auction. The man, surnamed Zhang, reportedly paid 682,662 yuan (around $99,000) for it and offered it to his girlfriend as a way to make amends for not buying her a gift on May 20. While not the most romantic gesture in history, it definitely gave the woman a chance to boast about her unusual gift on social media.

Nate Roman, who lives with his son in a single-family home in Marlborough, Massachusetts, came home on May 15, after picking up his child from school, to find that the back door of his house was unlocked. He had forgotten to lock it several times in the past, so he didn’t really think anything of it, but after entering the home, he immediately noticed that something was off. It smelled of bleach and cleaning products and a door he normally kept open was firmly shut. Things got even weirder when he want upstairs to check the bedrooms, which had both been cleaned and had everything arranged in a “really creepy way”.
